Atlas des plans du Grand Paris

In spring 2017, the Inventing Grand Paris collective launched a research programme to document and investigate the plans and projects that represent the major benchmarks in the history of the region’s development (the Bonnier Report, Jaussely Plan, Prost Plan, Padog, SDAURP, SDAURIF, SDRIF, etc.). The objective is to lay the foundations for a virtual historical Atlas of Grand Paris, to be hosted in the Corpus section of the website.

This project’s chief ambition is to contribute to better knowledge of the history of each of these plans considered separately, by preparing an inventory of the knowledge acquired in drafting and disseminating each plan, while also identifying the areas of uncertainty that may be subject to additional research. In a later stage, the project aims to foster comparisons between different plans and to propose comparative readings with international experiences.
